Log into the Hohenwald-Lewis County Chamber of Commerce
Wilhelm Tell Platz in Hohenwald was built on land donated by First Citizens Bank, and in 1993 the City leased the property to the Lewis County Historical Society and then built an 1880's Switzerland-era design bandstand.
Chamber
The first chamber of commerce was founded in France in 1599, and the first one in the United States was started in New York in 1768. Our Hohenwald Lewis County Chamber of Commerce was founded fairly recently in comparison to these dates, in 1976.

Chartered in 1976, the Hohenwald-Lewis County Chamber of Commerce is a 501c(6) non-profit organization. Our board consists of a maximum of 15 directors (elected by the membership) that oversees all funds and activities of our chamber and convenes monthly.
